AlxDesign Revamp

The new design is up. I hope it doesn’t have too much bugs at the moment. Please report if you see any. I’ve been working on it a lot for some days now, and even if it isn’t totally finished I opened it up to be able to get users to see / report / suggest etc. Some of the new things are:

+ New Design
+ Ajax rating system for news, I will add this to tutorials and downloads later, when that part is finished.
+ Intro page added
+ Tutorial & Download section under construction
+ Contact form under contruction
+ New flash on portfolio page - Had to remake all images, so not all projects have been added yet
+ A lot of CSS changes, even though it might be hard to see them
+ View counter on each news item page
+ Ajax polls. I think I spent a half day trying to fix so the radio-checkboxes could not be ticked twice, however, I gave up after trying 5 different scripts that all were bad in some way. It ended up with me going back the the first one I used.

The website is currently not CSS and XHTML valid, haven’t got time to fix that yet. I’ve not been able to test the website in IE 6, since I can’t get it. Hope it’s not totally messed up in that browser. Firefox however, is taking over ;) (click). Another thing I’m not totally sure is how the fonts looks without vista (vista makes them smooth even in firefox), hopefully it looks ok. Feel free to leave a comment, if you see anything wrong, or just wanna comment on the new stuff.

Maybe you wonder why I changed to dark? Well, I wanted something new and fresh, and I was tired of working on a white background, or black background as the old layout gave me. I have so much more possibilites with this new one, and I hope it looks good enough to be the new main skin on here. I’m not sure whether I should call it v.6 or…v.5.2?

Oh, and one last thing. Victor is back from his trip to Italy, maybe a bit “rusty” on the coding, but I’m sure he’ll get back into business soon ;)

   Actually i found no errors but be shure i´ll tell ya when i see something wrong.

   unreal design , looks like it took alot of work so that the coding wouldnt ruin the design.
